Angel Tree Fundraiser

Thank you for supporting our 2022 Angel Tree Fundraiser to raise money for Pets for Patriots. Scroll down to see how much we raised and learn more about this program.

We Raised a Grand Total of $14,683.35 for Pets for Patriots

Donations came mainly through our wonderful Best Friends customers, family and friends. We donated 10% of our pets' Thanksgiving Meal sales from all of our Best Friends centers, and we matched 10% of the total donations.

About Pets for Patriots

Pets for Patriots helps United States military veterans adopt a new friend while giving the most overlooked shelter dogs and cats loving homes.

Why their work is needed:
Every day 20 veterans take their own lives. Every eight seconds a dog or cat is put to death for lack of anyone to adopt them.
Companion pet adoption saves two lives.

What makes them different:
• They serve veterans at all career stages and from all armed forces from WWII to active duty
• They focus on the most overlooked sheltered animals
• They address surrender prevention by making pet guardianship more affordable for our nation’s veterans

Our Angel Tree History

Angel Tree is our annual fundraiser that began more than 20 years ago. Since the start of the program, we have raised over $100K toward organizations that promote the welfare of animals and celebrate the human and animal bond.

Alongside our monetary donations, at each center, we collect wish list items including food, toys, and pet care products for local shelters and adoption partners.

This year 100% of donations* went to Pets for Patriots to assist with their mission.

Best Friends Matched 10% of Total Donations. Also, 10% of Thanksgiving Meal Purchases – at Our Centers (through 11/26/22) – Went to Pets for Patriots.

Thanks to All of Our Generous Donators, We Exceeded Our $10K Donation Goal for Pets for Patriots! 🙂
