Industry pioneer has defined “what’s next” in pet boarding for two decades

Norwalk CT, April 23, 2012 – Pet parents across the U.S. have entrusted Best Friends Pet Care with the care of their dogs and cats for more than 14 million pet nights over two decades – far more than any other company in the industry.

Founded in 1992, Best Friends will celebrate its 20th anniversary with free doggy ice cream and cookies for visitors to its 42 locations June 2-3.

Best Friends Pet Care of White Plains has donated $500 to support the canine officers of the Westchester County Canine Unit as part of its “Canine Hero” campaign. The campaign honors the important work of the dogs whose job it is to serve and protect humans, including search and rescue dogs, canine, therapy dogs and service dogs.
