The Havanese has a double coat that sheds little to no hair, particularly if brushed regularly. The coat can appear straight, wavy or curled, and regular grooming is required to keep it soft and free of tangles. Clipping it short often makes grooming a great deal easier, otherwise a thorough brushing at least twice a week is needed. Hair from between the pads should be trimmed and the nails clipped regularly. It is also recommended that the teeth be brushed weekly and the ears kept clean. Periodic baths are often recommended as well. Schedule an appointment with one of our pet groomers today.
