The Chinese Crested comes in two varieties, hairless and powderpuff. Both are very clean dogs with no doggie odor and very little shedding. The hairless requires minimal grooming, though it should be bathed frequently and have cream or oil massaged into its skin. The powderpuff has a long, fine, silky coat that requires daily brushing to prevent mats from forming. Extra grooming may be required during the shedding seasons.
