Dog Owners Meet Up to Raise Fund for Rocky Hill CT Dog Park
A group of dog-loving citizens in Rocky Hill Connecticut have been working for more than a year to open a dog park in the community.
To help with the fundraising for the park, Best Friends Rocky Hill Pet Care Center has been hosting monthly meet-ups at its facility at 1511 Silas Dean Highway in Rocky Hill. For a $5 fee, dogs and their owners can enjoy two hours of group play in a safe, supervised setting. All monies raised go directly to the Dog Park fund. The meet-up group currently has more than 160 registered members.
To date, the Best Friends has raised more than $1,000 for the Rocky Hill Dog Park.
We are in the business of caring for pets and we understand just how important this dog park is for the Rocky Hill community, says Corinne Whaley, Manager of Best Friends, who recently presented a check to members of the Dog Park Committee.
