Hospitalization
We believe that our patients recover best at home, but sometimes accidents, surgery, or a serious
illness makes overnight hospitalization a necessity. While in our clinic, your pet will be monitored and evaluated regularly
with their comfort in mind. After hours you may choose to have your pet transferred to one of the area emergency facilities
for overnight observation if intensive care is required.
These patients return to Best Friends Veterinary Hospital the next morning for continued care
until discharge.
Medical Boarding
Some pets have medical conditions such a diabetes, cardiac problems, seizures, or severe
arthritis that require daily injections, special medications, or close observation. When circumstances prohibit you from
providing care at home, Best Friends offers medically trained staff to provide needed care and a comfortable environment for
your pet.
