We offer a wide variety of training classes to fit dogs from puppyhood to adult. Our unique Board & Train program allows your pet to have one-on-one training while he stays the night. Imagine, going away and coming back to a dog who no longer eats your shoes!
Our training techniques, taught by experienced instructors, are always positively reinforced. And class sizes are small, ensuring your pet gets the attention he or she deserves.

Our Staff Dog Trainer Steve Forsty has a diversified dog training background. He’s worked with Guide Dogs for the Blind, International Police Dogs, Canine Behavior Center & Canine Companions for Independence. In the past twenty years thousands of people and their dogs have benefitted from the instruction provided by Steve.
Puppies 10 weeks to 5 months:
This positive reinforcement class will focus on early communication and bonding as well as socialization and early puppy manners. We will discuss proper potty training methods, as well as assist owners in dealing with puppyhood behavioral problems like chewing, nipping and barking. Owners will learn the handling skills and communication techniques they will need to lead their puppies into a happy and well adjusted adulthood that will make for a trusting and loving bond of friendship for life.
$160 for one private lesson and five group lessons
Dogs 5 months or older:
This class will focus on beginner training skills such as loose leash walking, sit, down, stay, come, leave it, and other foundation behaviors as well as assisting owners with typical adult and adolescent problems of chewing, biting, barking, digging and jumping. This class is meant to create reliability and consistency in training for both the owner and the pet through positive proven methods.
$160 for six group lessons
Adult Obedience Advanced
For Puppy Program & Intermediate graduates:
Advanced class is meant to achieve consistent behaviors off leash, and to prepare students and their pets for the AKC CGC Test. Included in this test is all the materials and test fees for the AKC CGC Test when the owner and pet team are ready to complete that test.
$140 for five group lessons
These are private sessions meant to assist pet owners in addressing a myriad of issues including barking, housetraining, leash walking, and other behaviors hindering an owner from fully enjoying time with their pet. We can also assist owners in dealing with dog aggressive dogs or other behavioral issues that need the help of an experience trainer. This time is meant to be one on one time with the owner to ensure that personal and private needs are met to the fullest degree.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Test
“Promoting responsible dog ownership for owners and basic training for dogs.” This course is for those dogs and their owners who have had the necessary training and socialization in order to pass the 10 items included in the CGC test. Visit AKC.org for further questions about the items on that test. The CGC test is the entry level obedience title that any dog, no matter age or pedigree, can earn and it is recognized throughout the United States and elsewhere as a your insurance that your dog will be a “well respected member of your community”.
Graduates of Basic 1 or comparable skill level:
Learn to go through hoops, tunnels, see saw and jumps to build confidence in your canine friend. Agility class is meant to be enjoyed by owners and pets of any skill level.

Board & Train
While your pet boards, they will receive a one-on-one session each day, personalized to meet the needs of you and your pet. Our program provides your dog with a setting in which he or she can focus on learning necessary obedience skills. This training is often highly effective when a problem arises in the canine/human relationship. This price includes one exit lesson. Consultations are by appointment only.
