Best Friends at Walt Disney World Wows Guests

Lake Buena Vista, FL, March 2011 — Best Friends new pet care center at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida continues to garner rave reviews from the press, the public and pet lovers.

Since the grand opening last September, the trickle of guests has grown to a steady stream. Not only was the facility – with room for more than 300 pets — fully booked for its first holiday season, but “the phones haven’t stopped ringing since,” according to manager Jenn Kratzer.

The VIP luxury suites and vacation villas have been full every weekend and are already booked for holiday season 2011. “I’d say we’re a hit!” says Kratzer, adding that she receives as steady stream of fan mail from clients. Wrote one happy guest: “We just got back from 3 days in Orlando and Abby LOVED staying with you…we loved being able to take her with us. Thanks…will definitely be booking again!!

Another posted on Facebook: “I can personally HIGHLY recommend you bring your pets here. We had our baby girl Bailey there for a weekend recently. It was perfect…. I think she might have had it better than we did…. and we stayed at a Disney resort!”

The new Best Friends at Walt Disney World Resort is a full-service pet care center offering boarding and day care, grooming and doggie day camp. It offers spacious accommodations for dogs, cats and pocket pets in 17,000 square feet of air-conditioned indoor space, complemented by 10,000 square feet of covered outdoor runs and play areas. With a variety of suites and condos, plus lots of special services and amenities, there’s something for every pet — even a 25,000-square-foot dog park for canine guests to enjoy with their families!
