Dian and "Wilbur" Benevento
Dear Best Friends Pet Care,
Enclosed please find my picture of Wilbur. Half Basset and half Chocolate Lab, he's an adorable little guy - about 40 pounds of happiness.
Wilbur's been with me since November and during these 5 months he's worked very hard to get me "trained". I adopted him from the Hilton Head Humane Association in South Carolina. It's a wonderful no-kill shelter that survives solely on donations and volunteer work. He and his sister were found wandering the streets with no identification. They were soon put up for adoption. Lucky me! I only wish I could have taken both of them. However, the female did get adopted the same day as I adopted Wilbur. They looked like a matching pair of bookends!
He's almost a year and a half - very active! He gets up at 5:30 a.m. every morning and his day begins. He loves chasing squirrels and rabbits and playing with other dogs. Another favorite of his is going to Best Friends. One day each week, Wilbur goes to Best Friends for Day Care and we both love it. I feel so comfortable leaving my "Best Friend" at Best Friends. But most importantly, is the loving, caring way they treat Wilbur. He knows them all well by now and can't wait to spend the day.
I am so impressed with your operation here in Cinnaminson, N.J. Your people here really know what's important.
Thank you for asking us to participate.
Sincerely,
Dian and "Wilbur" Benevento
