Four years ago, I rescued Molly from a shelter in San Martin, C.A. She had just been picked up off of the streets in terrible physical and mental condition. After five days, I noticed that she was not eating and rushed her to emergency. She had major surgery -- her diaphragm was torn and her stomach and intestines moved up underneath her heart and lungs. The doctor said that she had probably been hit by a car.

Exactly one year later (to the month), my granddaughter saw Millie on the K-9 Rescue website. She was in a shelter in Sunnyvale, C.A. I knew that I had to have her because she looked so much like Molly. Her legs are a little crooked from malnutrition, but I think she's adorable. The minute the "Girls" saw each other -- they kissed and started playing and are now inseparable. They even sleep on top of each other.

I am very particular where I leave my "Girls" and I've found that your Center in Carmichael fills all of my needs for a good day care and pet resort. Stacy Hunter, the Center Manager, is always very helpful. I live in San Rafael and travel 98 miles to have my "Girls" boarded -- so you know that they are the best. I've even arranged for my airline departures from Sacramento instead of San Francisco.
