Dear Best Friends Pet Care,
We recently moved to New Jersey from Staten Island, N.Y. and we were not that familiar with the area. One day I was in the park and asked someone if they knew a good boarding facility. They recommended Kauffman Pet Care Center on Route 130.
(We rescued Blake from Buffalo, N.Y. from a Beardie Rescue Club. Blake had several issues and it was easy to see that he did not have an easy start in life. He is really a wonderful dog - we are working on his "protection" problem.)
I brought Blake in for an overnight to get him used to things (I never boarded my last dog, an Old English - big mistake - I just wasn't comfortable leaving him in a kennel.). Well, everyone was so friendly and truly caring! It was evident in the way they spoke with Blake and us. Another big plus is that Kauffman's offers Playtime; it is important to me that he is getting time out from his "room" and "People Contact" time. The facilities are very clean and the grooming is fabulous - Cheryl does a fantastic job - Blake never looked so handsome!!
Finding Best Friends is a lifesaver! It is so nice to be able to go away and not feel guilty or worried!! I know that he is truly being cared for. If Blake did not like going to Best Friends, I wouldn't be able to get him out of the car! This is coming from a person that would never board my dog. I highly recommend Kauffman's Best Friends.
