Official Rules. No Purchase Necessary. 1. Promotion Period: Sweepstakes begins at 9:00:01 a.m. (ET) on October 1, 2004 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on April 30, 2005. 2. How To Enter: 1) Visit http://www.bestfriendspetcare.com/RegistrationOffer during the promotion period, click on the Sweepstakes entry form link and follow the on-screen entry instructions. Complete all required entry information and you will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes. Limit one entry per person/e-mail address. Use of computer programs and other automatic means to enter is prohibited. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service will apply. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on April 30, 2005. 3. Random Drawing: The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about June 1, 2005, from among all eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted by The TOPSPIN GROUP, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received by the deadline date. The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by phone, e-mail or overnight mail within ten (10) days of the end date of the sweepstakes. 4. General Rules: The sponsor will make 3 attempts to contact the potential Grand Prize winner within 48 hours from the time winner selection was accomplished. If sponsor is unable to reach the potential winner via phone within this time frame, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected. Potential Grand Prize winner will then be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, liability/publicity release (where legal), along with a photograph of his/herself (to be used for publicity purposes) within three (3) days of notification attempt or the Grand Prize will be forfeited and alternate winner may be selected. Affidavit package will be mailed via overnight mail with a pre-paid overnight return envelope included. If any sweepstakes prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. The entrants determined as potential winners must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The "authorized account holder" is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. The potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the online portion of the Sweepstakes and award sweepstakes prizes from among all eligible online entries received prior to cancellation or termination.
