Best Friends Pet Care is delighted to be partnering with the American Kennel Club as a sponsor and host of Responsible Dog Ownership Month for the third year in a row.

In addition to joining the AKC for its flagship event in Raleigh NC on September 27, we are bringing RDO Day to dog lovers all across the country by hosting 36 fun and educational Dog Day Festivals during September and October.

Whether you've had dogs for years, are a brand new pet owner, or have just started looking for a best friend, these events offer something special for you, including:

  Fun contests & games: your best friend can win prizes for being the best kisser or best howler, for having the longest ears or for being the fastest ice cream or pie eater.
  Advice and advice on dog behavior and care; low-cost micro-chipping clinics, pet first aid demonstrations and pet health booths.
  Training demonstrations, Canine Good Citizen testing, plus a chance to try agility or participate in other activities.
  Kids’ workshops on dog safety and pet care;
  Goodies, giveaways and more.
