Well, everyone was so friendly and truly caring! It was evident in the way they spoke with Blake and us. Another big plus is that Kauffman's offers Playtime; it is important to me that he is getting time out from his "room" and "People Contact" time. I am very particular where I leave my "Girls" and I've found that your Center in Carmichael fills all of my needs for a good day care and pet resort. Stacy Hunter, the Center Manager, is always very helpful. I live in San Rafael and travel 98 miles to have my "Girls" boarded - so you know that they are the best. Molly is terrified of loud noises, shy with strangers, afraid of kids, and avoids other dogs, but she loves the people at Best Friends in Carmel, and even plays with some dog friends there. Molly shows you affection by putting her front paws on your stomach and stretching... Odie also enjoys short walks and long drives to pick up women with his driver, which is how he came to be at Best Friends. Odie loves the attention he gets from the staff, especially the comments about his "cute little outfits". Your organization has a gem of a facility - people should go there to be trained in how to care for animals... "I am disabled and unable to lift my dogs. When I called to cancel my dog Blu's appointment I told Stephanie that he was having seizures but that I was unable to take him to the vet. Stephanie took her lunchbreak to come to my house and take me and Blu to the vet. She waited for me and drove us home as well!
